Little Land Rover “Small Saffy”

Based on a 4 mph Mobility scooter,after the body was removed, the chassis was lengthened to the correct proportions, and the steering modified to use a steering wheel.

A custom body, made from CNC cut Moisture resistant MDF, and composites was added. After that, and a whole load of yellow paint, CNC cut finishing panels, and headlights, together with a vinyl upholstered seat were added. Lastly, the speed and direction controls were modified to use a foot pedal and switch rather than the hand controls used on the scooter.

While not a perfect scale replica, the result is in the correct proportions, and approximately 1:3 scale. The toy is based on my own Land Rover 110 County Station Wagon.
